About Benjamin Ohayon

As a drummer and teacher, sharing my passion for music is more than a career—it’s a calling that has driven me for over 15 years.

My journey began at the age of six, with a small drum set that sparked an immediate fascination with rhythm. This passion has only grown, fueled by transformative encounters with world-class drummers like Benny Greb, Aaron Spears, and Gavin Harrison, whose techniques and artistic vision deeply shaped my path.

To date, I’ve had the privilege of teaching dozens of students, each with their own aspirations and challenges. Whether it’s children discovering music for the first time, teenagers defining their style, adults pursuing a lifelong dream, or experienced musicians perfecting their craft, I tailor my teaching to every individual.

Alongside teaching, I founded the band Oma in 2019, where I play drums and perform vocals. This project reflects my artistic vision: sincere, powerful, and immersive music, brought to life by a team of talented musicians. Oma allows me to explore rich soundscapes and continually renew my inspiration.
